Jun 30, 2009 8:44 AMseems fine, until other continents develop a significant presence in the field
Jun 30, 2009 9:21 AMSince my home is in Europe and school in US, this sounds very ideal !
Jun 30, 2009 9:29 AMIt is not a bad idea, although Kansas city on itself was rather boring.
Jun 30, 2009 11:36 AMIt is OK so.
Jun 30, 2009 2:07 PMYes.
Jun 30, 2009 5:37 PMIt's fine. If other countries want host, let them do it also.

Jul 7, 2009 1:04 AMYes
Jul 8, 2009 12:28 PMSure, especially given the international mix of the attendees.

Jul 11, 2009 9:35 PMOther regions can be involved as hosts, Asia or Australia for example.
Jul 12, 2009 5:38 PMI agree.
Jul 22, 2009 2:05 PMActually, it alternates between Germany and the USA. Both North America and Europe comprise more countries. So, why not schedule a meeting in Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, etc?
Jul 24, 2009 5:10 PMthat's fine!
Jul 24, 2009 6:04 PMI am afraid for Americans it will be too expensive to go to europe pretty soon
Jul 24, 2009 7:00 PMI think its OK, but with the present state of the economy it's hard to know
Jul 25, 2009 8:35 AMSince the participation, and research activity as well, is shared in the two continents, it is fair to keep the alternation.
Jul 27, 2009 6:24 AMHopefully all in United States of America, because visa is a problem.
Jul 28, 2009 11:10 PMNorth America is more convenient for me. Otherwise I have no opinion regarding effects to content or outcome.
Jul 29, 2009 3:00 AMYes, this allows researchers from different continents to meet
Aug 5, 2009 3:32 PMI wouldn't want to travel out of the US for this more than once per 3 years if possible.
